Montag’s GEN 2 metering system has a unique modular design that allows it to be adapted to your needs as your operation changes and evolves for years to come.

The 2112 GEN 2 model has a single stainless bin (4.3 tons total capacity).  It also can be configured with up to 12 rows and up to 4 sections.

The reversible plenum and configurable platform allow for very flexible mounting options.

Bin Options  The 2112 includes a stainless-steel sealed bin.

Efficient Hydraulic Design  The 2112 uses a Crary fan with an efficient hydraulic design that allows machine to operate on a single hydraulic SCV.

Built for reliable use in fertilizer and cover crop applications.

  • Pressure relief protects key hydraulic components like the fan motor seal. 
Air Delivery 
  • Up to twelve 2” outlets, easily reconfigured. 
  • Splitters can be added to serve more rows at lower rates. 
  • A high-speed fan is also available. 
Section Control
  • Supports up to 4 sections. 
  • Sections can be added later. 
  • Sections are controlled by hydraulic motors and poppet valves for durability.

Slide-Gate Slide-gates allow farmers to segregate the product from the metering augers for easier clean-out and maintenance.

Platform & Ladder
  • Platform can be mounted on the front or rear of machine (must be on fan side).
    • On Steerable 6 ton cart, platform must be on rear of cart.
  • Ladder can be installed for entry from either left or right side of platform.
